- 1956 Bayer commence production of Novodur® ABS
- 1972 First production of automotive dash boards in Novodur®
- 1995 BAYER acquires Monsanto ABS business (USA/CAN/EU) as part of global strategy
- 1996 BAYER acquires Premier Enterprise/Thailand (ABS)
- 1997 BAYER acquires 51% of ABS Ltd. (India)
- 1997 BAYER acquires remaining 49.5 % of Premier Enterprise/Thailand (ABS)
- 2004 Bayer chemical activities including ABS business are spun off into a new company - Lanxess
- 2006 ABS business re-named Lustran Polymers
- 2007 Business renamed Ineos ABS after INEOS acquires a majority shareholding under a JV with Lanxess
- 2008 INEOS ABS acquires further 32,33% of the Indian ABS business
- 2009 INEOS acquires 100% of Ineos ABS
